Talk about “bang for your buck”! I bought this hellebore just last year and this year it has been completely filled with blooms all.winter.long. It is a keeper!
Happy Wordless Wednesday 🙂
In peace,

The contrast of the two sides of the field is what first caught my attention. Then I saw the cows lined up along the fence and just felt the need to take their picture. The farmer has been moving the fence little by little each day to allow the cows their fresh food. It seems that along the fence line is where they then tend to “hang out”! (perhaps waiting for the next meal?) I think it is sugar beet in the field.
This Wordless Wednesday business is not my idea of full fledged blogging, but when time is short it will have to do until I can get my “real” post finished!
I hope you enjoyed my Cow Picture!
In peace,
Dana
We have had such a confusing time with the weather. Mostly it has been horrible. (I’m sorry, that sounds so negative, but it is so true!) But there have been glimpses of the wonderful weather that Ireland does have to offer! I so hope that more good weather is on the way!
Happy “Wordless Wednesday” to you!
In peace,
Dana
As always, my wordless Wednesday picture most definitely needs a few words! Just about every morning I drive through a lovely little place called Killaney while on my way to bring my girls swimming in Monaghan town. I have to say that most people in Ireland are GAA (Gaelic Athletic Association) supporters, and in Killaney, around the time of the GAA finals, they show their support for the local team by coloring their black sheep half red to match the black and red colors of the team. I saw the sheep and just could not resist taking their picture!
I don’t think the sheep mind too much; no more so than my taking their picture!
I hope you are well. I’ve missed blogging and hope to get back to it soon.
I hope my post made you smile 🙂
Happy Fall!
Dana
This post really and truly needs no words. A few pictures of just two windows inside of Notre Dame from our recent visit to Paris.
I think they are incredibly beautiful! I hope you like them, too.
Happy Wednesday!

Hello! Just a few words on my “Wordless Wednesday Post”. I saw this huge inflatable duck along the N2 near Cullaville, County Monaghan yesterday. I have no idea why it is there, but it sure made me smile!
It is HUGE!
I hope it made you smile too!
Happy Spring 🙂

Wordless Wednesday: oh how I love posting pictures just for fun!
I took these pictures in December on a cold but beautifully sunny day. The sun sits so low this time of year that shadows are unavoidable.
I made this cake for my niece’s 10th birthday. She picked the colour icing and the “white” cake (she didn’t want chocolate!). I tried something a little different with my favourite white cake recipe by adding peppermint extract. It was a love it or hate it reaction! I really liked it. 🙂
For those of you who are always looking for a good cake recipe, here is the link to my favourite: http://iambaker.net/the-perfect-white-cake/ Seriously, it is super moist and always comes out lovely!
I love this textured pottery cup and saucer. It is from Japan.
There. Finished. and I didn’t use too many words. sorta.
Happy Wednesday! It is blustery cold here. I hope wherever you are in the world that you are nice and warm!
Peace,
Dana
Hello! Welcome to wordless Wednesday! I just had to share my picture of two varieties of butterflies on my one helenium flower. Earlier this season I was complaining for lack of butterflies, not so much now!
Thank you for visiting!
Dana
I think I’m getting the hang of this Wordless Wednesday thing. Here are just a few pictures which I think have a magical look to them simply because of the evening sunlight.
The flowers are not spectacular, really, but I think they look spectacular in this light.
And then my favorite … I captured a picture of a Speckled Wood Butterfly on my Rudbeckia (Black-eyed Susan). This was the picture that inspired me to post on my blog tonight.
Happy Wordless Wednesday!
